About the Role
As TravelX continues its global expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Lead
to join our Commercial team. This person will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer
and Director of Business Development and play a key role in growing our airline partner
footprint across regions.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys owning high-visibility
projects, and is excited about shaping the future of travel technology. This is a high-impact
role with direct exposure to airline executives, internal leadership, and cross-functional
teams.
What You’ll Do
● Drive the Sales Process:
Help manage airline accounts throughout the sales funnel—from outreach to contract
signature—ensuring timely progress and clear communication with stakeholders.
● Support Global Sales Efforts:
Work with commercial leadership to prepare compelling sales materials,
presentations, and proposals for airlines worldwide.
● Lead Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate closely with Product, IT, Marketing, and Legal to gather inputs, align on
deliverables, and prepare high-quality customer-facing documentation.
● Manage CRM & Reporting:
● Own our CRM workflows, maintain account data accuracy, and produce commercial
performance reports for internal leadership.
● Industry Events & Conferences:
● Lead the planning, logistics, and execution of TravelX’s presence at major industry
events, including booth preparation, product demos, and executive meetings.
● Market & Competitive Intelligence:
● Support ad-hoc research initiatives to inform commercial strategy and improve
positioning with airlines.
Qualifications
Required:
● 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, consulting, strategy, or a
related business function
● Background or experience in the airline or travel industry
● Excellent presentation-building skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides)
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to
internal and external stakeholders
● Full professional proficiency in English
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Willingness to travel internationally (up to ~20%)
Preferred
● Management consulting experience
● Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
● Experience in fast-paced, startup environments
